Final Reflections – TimeOut Project

Sport should be safe, inclusive, and welcoming for everyone and that belief has been at the heart of the TimeOut project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. As the project comes to a close, we celebrate the achievements made in promoting LGBT+ inclusion in sport through knowledge-sharing, awareness-raising, and community collaboration.

Throughout the project, TimeOut worked to challenge homophobia, bullying, and discrimination that still persist in sports. The initiative developed a dedicated Resource Center, educational materials, and tools designed to help coaches, clubs, and organisations foster inclusive environments. Through partnerships with sport associations and local communities across Europe, TimeOut strengthened the message that inclusion in sport is not optional — it’s essential.

MindSpin extends many thanks to all the partner organisations that contributed to the project’s success. Although the project has concluded, its message continues to resonate: inclusion is a team effort, and everyone deserves to belong — on and off the field.
